John David graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. Prior to his role with Canopy 360, John David served as an advisor for a local credit union as well as a Portfolio Manager for a Trust Company. John David is currently finishing his CFP designation studies with Florida State University.

What do you do at Canopy 360? 

John David conducts reviews, creates financial plans, and assists with any other needs our clients have regarding their financial wellbeing.

And when you're not at the office, what keeps you busy?

"My 4 year old (going on 15) keeps my wife and I very busy, along with our baby girl."

John David is married to Chelsea, a Neurological ARNP, and lives in Ocala. They have two children and spend their time going on adventures as a family.

As a lifelong member of the Ocala community, John David also spends his time giving back to his community. He has served on numerous local foundation boards throughout his career and has even formed a nonprofit in honor of his childhood friend.
