Lance is a graduate from Lee University, where he received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He began his career with Dun & Bradstreet, in 1996, working as an analyst selecting investments for pension plans. In 1998, he transitioned to SunTrust, continuing his career as a portfolio manager for high net worth clients. When SunTrust began to reduce operations in the central Florida area, Lance decided to affiliate with Morgan Stanley and continue working with high net worth clients. Having spent a few years with Morgan Stanley, Lance was able to understand the culture and corporate initiative enough to determine it wasn’t the right place for him to continue to grow his wealth management practice. Upon this realization, Lance began the search for a firm that understood that the client relationship is the most important piece of the puzzle, thus he chose Raymond James and eventually the independent advisor route.

What do you do at Canopy 360? 

Lance’s primary responsibility to our clients is to provide portfolio management. Having spent nearly all of his career analyzing investments and building portfolios, it was only natural that this would be his commitment to our clients. Lance manages multiple models, each focused on a different level of growth objectives and risk measures. ​

And when you're not at the office, what keeps you busy?

Lance is married to Albina, and lives in Ocala. They have three children and one very loved golden doodle. When he's not in the office, you're likely to find Lance spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, playing the guitar, or on the pickle ball court. He's also an Elder in his church.
