"My family has been small business owners for the past 80 years. Operating a small business comes with challenges and I work to help understand business owners, their challenges and how to develop solutions for them to grow their business and protect their wealth." 

Russell graduated from The University of Florida in 2001 and, like his grandfather before him, became a CPA. Within a few years of graduating, Russell opened his own practice and shortly after that he established Lindsay Financial Services. Russell focused on his clients’ needs from a holistic perspective and worked with other skilled professionals to choose the funds that were the most appropriate investment for his clients. Forecasting the growth of both his CPA firm and his wealth management firm, Russell could see it was time to begin searching for the right partners to affiliate with him on his wealth management platform. This is where the foundation of our practice of three partners was born.

What do you do at Canopy 360? 

Russell leads the growth of our firm by connecting with new clients and referral partners. He has a strength for asking great questions to help our team begin to identify what resources would be most beneficial to solve the problems clients are facing. He also assists our advisory team with complex estate and tax planning strategies.

And when you're not at the office, what keeps you busy?

Russell is married to Erin, and lives in Ocala with their two children. The family loves traveling, playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and hosting community small groups for their church.
